Totally forgot to mention in my last post one of my top highlights from last week! So here it is now:
-driving through the Ozarks, delightful for 2 reasons: 1.) They’re lovely. And 2.) They serve as the setting for the top favorite book of my childhood (and one of my favorite books of all time), Where the Red Fern Grows.
And this quote:
Listen to your life. See it for the fathomless mystery it is. In the boredom and pain of it, no less than in the excitement and gladness: touch, taste, smell your way to the holy and hidden heart of it, because in the last analysis all moments are key moments, and life itself is grace.
–Frederick Buechner (…I really have got to read him for myself SOON! hahah)
